Ivy Kids Syrup and i.Cough Kids Syrup

Ivy or Hedera helix is a species of flowering plant of the Araliaceae family, native to Europe and Western Asia. Botanists nowadays use this plant to treat respiratory diseases such as asthma, bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and inflammation. Saponins and flavonoids are the main constituents of this plant that help to dilate the respiratory tract and reduce cough. Evidence suggests that ivy leaf extract in a syrup and drop form is a safe and effective treatment for cough, especially in children.

Saponin compounds in ivy leaf extract help improve respiration in the following ways:

Decreased mucus adhesion and faster respiratory tract clearance.

Increased oxygen exchange in the airways.

Relieve contraction and relaxation of the respiratory tract.
